I took a 1 week hiatus from the campaign trail to travel to Fire Island, a barrier island off of Long Island in NY, to take time to vacation with my entire family. It is hard to get us all together because we are quite spread out. A real bonus was celebrating my oldest grandson’s 1st birthday. In attendance was his first cousin who did not like his birthday hat! Debbie made the Cookie Monster cake. Debbie is standing in front of the ocean house we rented. I got my energy up to dive into the primary election August 2nd and then on to the general election on November 8th!
