Official end of the Atchison County Fair and a Win!

After finishing picking up signs and going ‘door-to-door’ all day Friday 8/5, I was really happy attend the official end of the Atchison County Fair with the annual livestock sale.

I did bid on Maria Martin’s swine and won it! I donated it back to the family in hopes I’ll get some choice cuts!

Pictured at left are Maria (another patient I delivered) and me right after the auction purchase. The picture to the right is the whole Martin family. Not only did I get a Ribbon, but also a great batch of chocolate chip cookies by Katie Martin (Maria’s mom). What a perfect ending to a great week!
